RARE ANTIQUE BASENJI DOG PAINTING 1948 ORIGINAL FRAME BASENJIS VG CONDITION

Description

This is a very rare large antique pastel painting of a Basenji Dog, in its original frame from which it has never been removed, the painting is signed bottom right by the artist M.I. Porter and the dog is also named bottom left "Robin" the painting which is dated 21/1/48 is in very good condition and is approx. 18" x 14" to the rear is its original pastel society label with the artists name and address, title of painting, also written on the frame is a note from the author offering best wishes in 1949.  This is a superb quality painting of a Basenji dog from 1948 painted in London.
